Tara is an award-winning investigative journalist, podcast host, and editor, who’s broken countless compelling, impactful, and exclusive stories right across the country.
With media experience spanning over a decade, Tara has worked across every platform there is: TV, radio, digital, social media and podcasts, and at outlets including ABC News, LiSTNR, News Corp, Nine News and WIN News. She is particularly passionate about long-form investigations, crime and social justice reporting, as well as creative multiplatform storytelling.
Tara’s work includes investigations into sexual abuse cover-ups within the Jehovah's Witness Church, coverage of natural disasters, the Weiambilla terror attack, fatal aged care failures, and one of the last interviews with former Prime Minister Bob Hawke. One of her latest investigations into a convicted killer saw her uncover two fresh poisoning allegations, and became a chart-ranking true crime audio-documentary, later winning a national Kennedy Award for Excellence in Journalism and a Queensland Clarion Award.
Tara has also previously been nominated as a national finalist for the ACRA's 'Brian White Award for Excellence in Journalism' and 'Best News Event Coverage'.
